Heart Peace

“To Timothy, my beloved child: Grace (favor and spiritual blessing), mercy and (heart) peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord!” 2 Timothy 1:2 amp

As I began to read this passage right away the words “heart peace” stood out.  Immediately I started to pray as I was reminded of what a frustrating weekend I had and the strain it put on me.  While in prayer I began to realize how important it is to have peace in our hearts in order to have confidence in God.  We need to have a reassurance and a knowing that there is a great hope and future for our lives and family.  It helps us believe in the Word and relax our faith on the promises of God.  Apparently Paul knew the importance of having heart peace, because he started both letters to Timothy in encouragement by blessing him with these words.  As we face the trails and stresses of life it is reassuring to know that there is a peace that surpasses all knowledge that can only come from our Lord Jesus Christ.  He loves us so much that He has given us the Holy Spirit to guide us in all truths (John 16:13).  When we look with our eyes and see the pain, stress and physical turmoil all around us it can be overwhelming.  Yet the Lord promises us that he will grant us full insight and understanding in everything if we keep our minds focused on him (2 Tim 2:7-8).  That’s why we are called to view things with our spiritual senses and allow the Spirit of the Lord to reveal to us all things.  When you do you will see that there are more for you then against you.  God has deployed his angels to cover and protect you and your offspring, so we know that no weapons that are forged against you will ever prevail (Isaiah 54:17).  Be encouraged!  Remain in the Peace of God knowing that what you see is not the final result.  God is not finished.  He is Faithful!  And he is working all things together for your good.

Purpose In The Prophetic Word

When God gives you a divine revelation it’s for a purpose.  God will reveal to you his plans through a dream, vision or a word of prophecy. He gives you this supernatural wisdom, an awesome download from heaven by his grace and favor.  Not because of anything that you’ve done, but because he love you.  He does this so he can manifest his goodness through you for others on this earth, that he may be glorified.  You will not only be a blessing, but people will see you and call you blessed.  God will give you his favor, his grace, but he is looking for your faith.  Have confidence in God and his word.  When you do it will set his plans in motion for your life and you will be a partaker of his goodness and see great things happen through you for his glory.

Salvation of the Lord

“How shall we escape if we ignore so great a salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him. God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.” Hebrews 2:3-4

The Salvation of the Lord is declared to those who are willing to receive it.  This precious blessing is bestowed upon us by the Holy Spirit and accompanied by miracles, signs and wonders manifesting through the believer.  This is established and endorsed by the Most High God according to His Will.  This great Salvation is proved to be real and genuine from those who actually heard Him speak in the flesh.  And now by the believer who has Him dwelling on the inside, which is accepted by faith and a knowing revealed by the truth of the Word of God.

 Never Defeated

“We are hedged in (pressed) on every side (troubled and oppressed in every side), but not cramped or crushed; we suffer embarrassments and are perplexed and unable to find a way out, but not driven to despair; We are pursued (persecuted and hard driven), but not deserted (to stand alone); we are struck down to the ground, but never struck out and destroyed;” 2 Corinthians 4:8-9

Pressure, like with a diamond, applied to the believer will manifest Gods power and abilities within us.  Every trial that we face God uses it as an opportunity for us to flourish on another level of responsibility for the Kingdom.  Although you face trials and persecutions, God’s power will give you the endurance to move forward.  His joy will be our strength.  When you’re confronted with a problem you will be able to overcome with the peace that surpasses understanding in Christ Jesus.

Take Authority

“The earth is the Lords and the fullness of it, the world and they who dwell in it.” Psalm 24:1

I have given you the earth to manifest my goodness upon it.  Make yourselves ready (Ps. 24:4, Gen. 1:27-31).  Take authority and call those things that are not as though they were.  Command the seed to grow, tree to blossom, and the land to flourish.  Put things back right the way I willed it to be long ago.  Take hold of my promises they belong to you.  Use the ability Authority and Power I have placed in you to till the land and reap My harvest.

Jesus Is The Way

“Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me.”

John 14:6

When it seems like there is no way, Jesus, He is the Way!
